Pedestrian hit in accident in northeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs Police said they responded to a crash involving a pedestrian Monday evening.

According to police, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Barns Road and Tutt Boulevard around 7:40 p.m

The pedestrian suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. According to police, the driver remained at the scene of the accident.

Police said they are still investigating but do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
