1 dead after crash in Harris County, coroner says

HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) – One person has died in a crash in Harris County.

The victim was identified as 30-year-old Jarrett Jackson. Harris County Coroner Joe Weldon said the wreck was the victim's “fault.”

The accident occurred on Highway 103 near the Flat Shoals Bridge in Harris County. According to Weldon, Jackson crossed into another lane of traffic, crashed into a car and then crashed head-on into an 18-wheeler.

Weldon said the crash happened just after 12 p.m. Monday.
