Memorial grows for 7-year-old murder-suicide victim

DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – A memorial is growing for a 7-year-old killed in a murder-suicide in Duluth last week.

First grader Oliver Nephew created a free toy library for children in his neighborhood.

Now dozens more stuffed animals, toys and flowers surround the library.

People also packed the items in carrier bags to protect them from rain.

Oliver and his mother Kathryn Nephew (Ramsland) were killed Thursday along with Erin Abramson and her son Jacob Nephew.

Anthony Nephew killed his sons and their mothers before taking his own life.

The Erin and Jacob Memorial Run/Walk/Bike will be held on November 29th at 6:30 am

Participants will meet at the lower chalet of Spirit Mountain to begin the 4.8 mile route.
