Behind the scenes of Trump's viral family photo with Musk on election night

Kai Trump, the granddaughter of US President-elect Donald Trump, has shared a glimpse into the family's election night celebrations following her grandfather's victory over Kamala Harris. She also shared moments leading up to the Trump family photo with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

The 17-year-old is an avid vlogger on YouTube and posts moments from her life to her 1,78,000 subscribers. In her latest video, the teenager shared her thoughts on Donald Trump's second term in the White House.

The video, just over 10 minutes long, begins with Kai putting on makeup and sharing her thoughts on the election. “I'm here at my house getting ready for election night at Mar-a-Lago and the convention center,” she said while sitting in a makeup chair.

On the way to the Florida resort she listened to ABBA's “Money, money, money” song every time she drove through the gates. Kai said she hasn't seen her grandfather in a while because he's busy campaigning, adding she's “super excited” to see him again. “He called me almost every other day,” she added.

When she arrived at the venue, the video showed the room was filled with her family and close friends. In total, they watched on four television sets, with different channels providing results.

The vlog also shows how the viral family photo, which also features the richest person in the world, was created. As the family members posed for the camera, Trump can be seen insisting on showing Musk and his four-year-old son X Æ A-12 in another picture.

“Elon… You have to get Elon with his boy. “Beautiful, perfect boy,” Trump can be heard saying in the video.

After the watch party, Kai headed to the Palm Beach Convention Center to meet her friends who also appeared in the vlog.

While Kai said she was “very nervous” at the start of the night, she later described November 5 as a “special night.”

“I'm extremely proud of him (Donald Trump)…I think he deserves it more than anyone else in the entire world…He's such an incredible and unique human being,” she said.

She noted that it was “his last run, so it was really special for him to win because he really deserved it.” She added that she is now “really excited” to see what Donald Trump does in the next one would do for years, adding, “He’s going to kill it.”
