All lanes of I-65 South near Arthur Street are closed following a multi-vehicle crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Commuters in Louisville Tuesday morning should be aware of a major closure on Interstate 65.

All lanes and shoulders are currently closed on I-65 South near Arthur Street, located at mile marker 133.

MetroSafe said the call came in at 5:37 a.m. regarding a personal accident, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet confirmed the accident involved multiple vehicles. TRIMARC currently reports that five vehicles were involved.

Drivers will be asked by officials to take a different route.
