A crime spree hits DC as suspects target several businesses in early morning break-ins

WASHINGTON, DC – On Sunday, a coordinated series of early morning break-ins and property destruction damaged several businesses across Washington, DC, sparking a citywide search for suspects.

The shooting spree began around 5:10 a.m. Nov. 10 when suspects broke down the front door of a bar in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE before fleeing the scene. Shortly thereafter, at 6:04 a.m., the suspects attacked a business in the 4500 block of MacArthur Boulevard NW, breaking in and stealing property.

The suspects continued along MacArthur Boulevard, committing two more burglaries within minutes. At 6:08 a.m., a facility in the 4800 block was attacked, followed by another in the 5100 block at 6:10 a.m. In each case, the suspects stole property and quickly fled.

Surveillance cameras captured images of two suspects and their vehicle, which police have released in the hope of identifying those responsible.
