Vt. Mann is accused of shooting three Palestinian students in charge of the trial

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The man accused of shooting three students of Palestinian descent in Burlington last year may stand trial.

Jason Eaton made national headlines last November after police said he shot the men outside his Prospect Street home.

He pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted murder.

Eaton was scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday but did not appear in court. However, he was deemed fit to stand trial.

A statement must be made by the end of May.
