Kinston police investigate shooting incident involving juvenile – Neuse News

On Sunday, November 11, 2024, at approximately 12:47 p.m., officers with the Kinston Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of East Lenoir Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a 15-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his extremities.

The victim was immediately transported to a local medical facility for treatment. Fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Kinston Police have launched an active investigation into the incident. Further details will be released as they become available.
