GPSO announces recent drug arrests

GRANT PARISH, La. (CALF) – The Grant Parish Sheriff's Office recently announced drug-related arrests.

Jimmy “Pogo” Rayner, 67, of Pollock, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegally carrying a firearm with drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Bruce Branton, 56, of Ball, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an ATV on a public road, contempt of court and probation violation.

Sheila McGuire, 60, of Pollock, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and obstruction of justice.

Additionally, an undercover investigation by Rapides Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) led to the arrest of a drug dealer.

Rufus Dunn, 48, of Pineville, was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine. Following a burglary investigation, he was also charged with burglary, theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful entry into an inhabited dwelling.
