Suspect arrested for drug trafficking traffic violations

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) – Asheville Police report the arrest of a woman for drug trafficking after she was seen committing multiple traffic violations.

According to officers, on Nov. 9, a vehicle was stopped on Crescent Street after committing multiple traffic violations.

The driver, 28-year-old Alexis Helena Cromer, was found in possession of an illegal amount of fentanyl, as well as methamphetamine and oxycodone, police said.

Officials report that Cromer was arrested and the following was seized from her possession:

  • 9 grams of fentanyl
  • 25 grams of methamphetamine
  • 6 DU Oxycodone
  • Various scales, bags and foil
  • $240

Cromer is accused of:

  • Fentanyl trafficking
  • Possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine
  • Offense of possession under Schedule II
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule II
  • Parole Board Violation
  • Out-of-county probation violation
  • Driving with a suspended license
  • Failure to stop at a red light
  • unsafe lane changes
  • improper lane use

Cromer was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Center without bail because she violated probation.
