Say goodbye to SSI payments in 2024

Each month there are several payments to retirees, survivors, disabled people and recipients of the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program, but in the last two months of the year, SSI recipients will see some changes to their benefits SSI payments. According to the Social Security Administration, SSI recipients receive three payments in the last two months of the year because they receive January benefits in advance. SSI payments will change their regular schedule in November and December

The Social Security Administration is currently distributing more than 70 million checks to recipients of the Retirement, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (RSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs. That's why the SSA created an annual payment schedule so that all beneficiaries know exactly which days they will receive their payments throughout the year.     • On the second Wednesday of the month for those born between 1st and 10th
