Everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 6

Fortnite Chapter 6 is almost upon us and the battle builders in the fan base couldn't be more excited. Leakers have revealed a lot about the rumored update and the fanbase is gearing up for a new map, classic game modes and even an explosive battle pass full of collectibles.

We've compiled all the little news we know about Chapter 6 and its possible release. Get ready to skydive straight into the latest version of Fortnite – it's sure to be an exciting adventure unlike any the battle royale has ever seen before.

According to a leak from Fortnite Chapter 6 is expected to release on December 1st @ShiinaBR on X While we don't have release times, it's safe to assume Fortnite's update will be complete around 10 a.m. Eastern Time. This leak also reveals a possible end date for season 1 of February 21st.

The overall theme of Chapter 6: Season 1 is expected to be Japan. but other than Japanese architecture and flora, it is unknown what else might be included. A surprise anime crossover could be a possibility, but leaker @FortniteFNLK has posted images that suggest a classic Japanese theme.

We don't yet have a full lineup of stunning cosmetics for the first Chapter 6 Battle Pass, but that won't stop our speculation. If a Japan theme is coming up, perhaps we could see popular characters from Japanese anime or a samurai skin.

Fans may not know much about the Battle Pass cosmetics, but Epic Games has made it clear that the reward system will be overhauled in Chapter 6. Battle Stars are set to be removed entirely, and in their place a system will be introduced that will allow you to collect rewards in the order you see fit. Battle Passes now also level up via earned XP in every game mode.

There are a few different updates and events that you can expect to see released after Chapter 6. Additionally, some features are confirmed to be rolling out or resurfacing soon. X-Leaker @ShiinaBR has created an extensive list of upcoming content big and small, and we've examined the most important information below.

Smaller additions include the Industrial City location, the return of quad launchers, and a void mechanic. Although we don't know much about the additions mentioned above, here's all the remaining information we have about Chapter 6.

It's possible that the mechanic isn't collectible at all, but it's an exciting idea that you could have a pet that follows you around in the third-person shooter.

Weather forecast towers are a fan-favorite structure in Fortnite, so it would be an unfortunate shock if they were removed in Chapter 6. Luckily, @ShiinaBR suggests that the towers will still be there after December 1st. You can use weather forecast towers to predict future storm circles to outmaneuver your enemies in the end game.

New extensions

X Leaker @Loolo_WRLD has spread that expansions could return in the sixth chapter, However, there is no current official confirmation of this news. Augments grant you powerful bonuses and are therefore essential to securing your next victory crown. According to @Loolo_WRLD, new expansions could also be on the way. Regardless, it's safe to assume that this popular mechanic will be making a comeback soon.

Winter Festival 2024

Thanks to a leak from @ShiinaBR on X, the Fortnite fanbase knows the upcoming release schedule for each action-packed Chapter 6 update. Winter Festival is one of the December updates on the 10th, so we can expect the festive event to bring cheer just a week after the release of the latest chapter.

@Hypex on Many fans prefer playing in first-person rather than third-person, so this addition could bring a new group of players to Fortnite.
