A Lake Charles man was arrested after a missing teenager was found hiding in his home

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – A Lake Charles man is facing charges after two missing teenage girls were found hiding in his home.

Micah Ford, 22, was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Facility on the following charges:

  • Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile (2 counts)
  • Indecent behavior towards a young person

On November 8th at approximately 3 p.m., the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Red Tailed Hawk Drive in Lake Charles for two 14-year-old girls who had been reported missing the previous day.

Family members told officers that one of the girls' cellphones appeared to be in the house, investigators said. When officers arrived, they made contact with Ford, who confirmed that the two girls were hiding at his home.

Investigators learned that Ford kissed one of the girls and sent her a sexually explicit video, officials said.

Ford's bond was set at $105,000.
