Man charged with indecent behavior towards a child

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A Baton Rouge man is facing charges for allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior with a child.

Baton Rouge police said Timothy Patterson, 63, was arrested Monday, Nov. 11, on obscenity, indecent behavior toward a juvenile and a fugitive charge.

According to arrest documents, Patterson returned to a home where his request to cut grass was denied and he was allegedly inappropriate with a 9-year-old child who had gone outside to go to a friend's house.

While investigating the complaint, police said they learned that Patterson had active warrants from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
