Ohio State Highway Patrol investigates fatal crash in Brown County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ohio (WXIX) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol Georgetown Post is investigating a two-vehicle crash in Russellville that left one man dead, according to police.

On Nov. 12 at 10:15 a.m., 42-year-old Seth Jones of Ripley, Ohio, was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Spark south on US 62 when he swerved to avoid a United States Postal Service car, according to OSHP's media release.

Near mile marker 19, Jones' car veered left of center and was struck head-on by a northbound tractor-trailer, according to OSHP.
