77-year-old man dies after accident in Pickens Co

EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Pickens County Coroner's Office said one person is dead following a crash Tuesday morning.

According to the coroner, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Calhoun Memorial Highway

Officials said the driver struck another vehicle in the oncoming lane and died at the scene.

The victim was identified as 77-year-old Dennis Edway Gorecki.

The Easley Police Department is investigating this accident.
