Reynolds was shot in the arm and back of the head, 9NEWS reported, after he and two other people were allegedly followed out of a Denver strip club around 3 a.m. local time last Friday morning.

Two people were shot, including Reynolds, while a third person was hit by shattered glass. The shooting occurred while Reynolds was in a car, and there was reportedly no confrontation at the strip club leading up to the incident.

Two people were arrested after video footage showed them following the car containing Reynolds and the two other victims. One of those arrested told police he was “helping out” a friend by following Reynolds and the other two victims, but denied ever shooting.

The Broncos released a statement Thursday confirming the news and saying Reynolds was “being treated for minor injuries.”

Luckily, Reynolds is already out of the hospital and was at the Broncos' practice facility on Thursday.

Reynolds appeared in the first five games of the Broncos' season, totaling 183 yards and a touchdown in a passing game that struggled to get going early on. However, he was placed on IR in early October due to a broken finger. It's unclear whether the shooting will have any impact on his return plan.

Reynolds began his career with the Rams and spent the last two and a half seasons with the Lions before moving to the Broncos last offseason.

Reynolds was a fourth-round pick out of Texas A&M in 2017 and has rushed for 3,116 yards and 20 touchdowns in eight seasons in the NFL.
