1 injured, 1 arrested after fight on ramp to State Road 826 in Hialeah – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

HIALEAH, FL. (WSVN) – Florida Highway Patrol troopers have arrested a man who assaulted another man on a highway ramp in Hialeah.

Troopers and Hialeah police units responded to the Northwest 122 Street entrance ramp to northbound State Road 826 Wednesday evening.

Upon arrival, they met with the victim who gave them a description of what happened just before 8 p.m

This resulted in a multi-agency perimeter being established that temporarily closed the eastbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway at West 68th Street.

According to officials, FHP K-9 troopers located the subject after a brief search.

Hialeah Fire Rescue paramedics treated the victim at the scene.

The person was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in West Miami-Dade.
