Suspect arrested in Las Vegas crash that killed two children

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas City Police arrested the suspect accused of running a red light and killing two children.

According to LVMPD, 32-year-old Nikki Serrat was identified as the driver of a Lexus in a crash at Flamingo and Pecos on November 8th. According to police, Serrat was charged with hit-and-run and reckless driving.

Serrat is accused of running her Lexus through the red light at the intersection and crashing into a car carrying a mother and four children. Two of the children, identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as 6-year-old Taliyah Lewis and 11-year-old Dante Lewis, died in the accident.

To cover the children's funeral costs, the family has set up a GoFundMe.
