100 mph and alcohol consumption by unlicensed driver in mass pileup in Minneapolis that killed one and injured others

Walker's passenger, 20-year-old Taniyah Randle-Smith, was taken by ambulance to HCMC with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol. A hospital spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon that she was in critical condition. Walker was in satisfactory condition at HCMC, the spokeswoman said.

The accident killed Natalie Gubbay, a 26-year-old SUV driver from Minneapolis. Her passenger, Molly Elizabeth Brenton, 28, of Virginia, Minnesota, was taken to HCMC with non-critical injuries.

The road and ramp were closed for several hours so investigators could collect evidence and clear debris. Traffic has now returned to normal.

A GMC Yukon driven by Abass Boke, 38, of Anoka, had five passengers, four of whom suffered non-critical injuries, including a two-year-old.

Drivers of other vehicles involved included Kyle Willems, 36, of Minneapolis; Luis Withrow, 22, of Minneapolis; Susan Clingman, 62, of Minneapolis, and Michael Henning, 62, of Burnsville.

The patrol initially misidentified some of the people involved in the crash in its public report and then made corrections late Thursday morning, said patrol Lt. Mike Lee.
