Man arrested for making terroristic threats in downtown Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – According to Cleveland Police, around 3 p.m. Saturday, 21-year-old George M. Ivery was arrested after he made a shooting threat and threatened to intimidate a civilian.

According to court documents, Ivery entered Tower City with a gun. While in Tower City, several people called the police because a man was threatening people with a gun.

Police at the scene learned that there was an Instagram post that showed Ivory shooting a pistol in the air four times. It is unknown where the video was taken, but it was not Tower City. Ivory was also observed standing in a Cleveland State parking garage and pointing a firearm at vehicles traveling on I-90. In another video, Ivory walks through downtown Cleveland with a rifle and says, “I'm going to tear this shit up on my mama, I'm going to shoot this shit up.”

Ivery is charged with making terroristic threats, a third-degree felony.

He was arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court this morning and is being held on $75,000 bond.
