What to expect from the chapter

Togashi worked on it Hunter x Hunter for quite some time continuously and HxH Chapter 407 is highly anticipated. The HxH story reaches its current arc with the succession competition that takes place inside the Black Whale. Togashi has written many complex storylines that all eventually connect here.

Fans can definitely look forward to an intense focus on the Phantom Troupe, as it looks like this story arc will mark their end, or at least the end of their leader, Chrollo Lucilfer. Togashi is definitely planning something big for the next few chapters.

The Heil-Ly and Phantom Troupe in action

• Dogman and Sodom are going to kidnap someone
• Feitan and Phinks find the Heil-Ly hideout

In Hunter x Hunter 404, Morena and her group were seen planning to kidnap someone. In particular, Dogman will be seen in action as he is Morena's strongest and highest ranking man, possessing the ability to determine a person's Nen type, abilities and overall identity depending on how close he gets to them to sniff them. Dogman is also accompanied by Sodom, another member of the Heil-Ly. Your goal in this mission will be to use the Halkenburg Funeral Procession to kidnap a person – someone who doesn't yet know how to use Nen.

While Chapter 404 didn't mention who this person will be, Morena and the Heil-Ly have already narrowed down the chapters before. It is believed that the person who wanted to kidnap Morena was someone from the private army of the 4th Prince Tserriednich. Some of them could definitely be part of the funeral procession. It is currently unknown who Morena will kidnap, and fans will have to wait and see what Togashi plans to do.

However, in HxH 407, fans could certainly imagine this plan as the procession of Halkenburg's funeral progressed. This won't be the only thing that happens to the Heil-Ly. Two members of the Phantom Troupe will soon break into their hideout. Feitan and Phinks, having separated from Nobunaga, are still on their way to the Heil-Ly hideout, as the Cha-R has given them better access to move between the different levels of the Black Whale. However, as fans saw in HxH 406, the transmitter that was turned into an oyster by Hinrigh ran out of Nen and is soon discovered by a member of the Heil-Ly. This means the Heil-Ly might not find it in time and the Phantom Troupe might make their way to their hideout first. There could be a fight there, but Feitan and Phinks have no plans to fight except in self-defense so they can stay in hiding.

One person who could definitely get in their way is Wang, Cha-R's underboss, who apparently works for Morena. The plot with the Phantom Troupe and Heil-Ly is definitely coming to a head and Togashi is planning something big with the two groups.

Another character Togashi will soon focus on is Nobunaga. This member of the Spider has had some of the best developments in this arc. Nobunaga moves alone and will be a main character in the upcoming chapters.

Chrollo makes progress to steal the national treasures

The Phantom Troupe has taken a central role in this follow-up competition arc in the manga. Of course, the most interesting character among them at the moment is, unsurprisingly, Chrollo Lucilfer, their leader. Chrollo was recently seen in HxH 406. In this chapter, he was seen using a brand new Nen ability, Love Dial 6700, and fans were able to get a glimpse into his current goals. Chrollo wants to steal a treasure, specifically the three national treasures of Kakin. If he succeeds, his Skill Hunter ability will reach new heights, allowing him to gain rare and powerful abilities.

In Hunter x Hunter In Chapter 407, fans will definitely see more of Chrollo. Chrollo must find a way to steal these treasures, most likely alone or perhaps with a partner. He will be promoted to the first division in the Black Whale. Chrollo used Love Dial 6700 to find someone, but who that person is is unknown for now. There are indications that this person could be Kurapika. Regardless, Chrollo will shine in the coming chapters, especially when this arc could very well be his last in HxH.

Hisoka and Chrollo will have a rematch in this arc, and when Hisoka eliminated some of Chrollo's Phantom Troupe colleagues, it plunged him deeper into despair. Hisoka may soon kill another member of the force, namely Bonolenov, who is currently near him.

The story returns to the Kakin princes and Kurapika

Togashi has tackled multiple storylines in this arc, each of which is extremely detailed and complex. He's recently shifted focus from the Kakin Princes to the Mafia and Phantom Troupe storylines, and he could very well return to the Princes soon Hunter x Hunter Chapter 407. A fascinating character in this arc is Prince Halkenburg. This prince killed his original body and is currently in the body of one of the first prince Benjamin's bodyguards. The story could focus on his attempt to reach Benjamin. However, chaos will soon ensue at his own funeral procession.

Other interesting storylines for the current princes include the one with Prince Fugetsu. Melody and her group intend to kill Prince Luzurus to save Fugetsu, and such a murder will not be easy to carry out and will have significant repercussions. It's not even guaranteed that this will save Fugetsu. The other Kakin princes like Tserriednich, Camilla and Benjamin will soon have their interesting moments.

Kurapika is also very busy at the moment because a new Nen workshop is starting. He plans to reveal the contents of Queen Oito's letter, which could lead to a prince taking action, a good guess here is Camilla. Either way, Togashi still has a lot to go through in this arc, and a lot could happen in the next chapter.
