Bradley Beal of the Suns is out with left calf tightness

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal left Tuesday's win over the Utah Jazz with left calf strain and did not return.

After Beal committed a foul at the 7:19 mark of the fourth quarter, he went to the locker room and did not return to the bench for the remainder of the Suns' 120-112 victory at Utah.

Beal had 24 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 29 minutes. It was unclear when the injury occurred.

“We’ll just see how he does,” Suns coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters after the game. “How he wakes up. What the medical team has in store for us tomorrow.”

The Suns guard was not on the injury report for Tuesday's game despite suffering two injuries on Sunday.

In Sunday's loss to the Sacramento Kings, DeMar DeRozan rolled his left knee and also suffered an ankle injury. In addition, he struggled with a right elbow problem.

Beal has played in nine of the Suns' 11 games this season despite his string of injuries.

The Suns are back in action on Wednesday against the Kings, with tip-off at 8 p.m. on 98.7 on the Arizona Sports App.
