Sol Ruca, Wes Lee and Je'Von Evans advance to the Iron Survivor Challenge matches

On this week's episode of NXT TV, the qualifiers began for the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge matches scheduled for deadline Premium Live Event on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

First, in what could be described as a surprise, Sol Ruca managed to outmaneuver the recently returned Cora Jade to score the pinfall victory and advance. She looked like she might finally be ready to take the next step.

Next, Cedric Alexander and Wes Lee went out and tore the house down with a super fun back and forth battle. Alexander looked like he had a real shot, but Lee took advantage of an unused turnbuckle to gain a lead and ultimately get the pinfall.

Je'Von Evans and Lexis King later had a hard-fought match, but the former emerged victorious. The two then gave each other a handshake and a hug.

This leaves only three places for men and four for women.
