Who went home and won the Instant Dance Round on the 500th episode of DWTS?

Dancing with the stars celebrated some of the most iconic moments in the series' history in the 500th episode.

Celebrity contestants and their professional partners reimagined famous performances from previous duos in the Tuesday, November 12 episode.

Joey Graziadei decided to imitate one of his “favorites”. DWTS Moments: Riker Lynch And Allison Holkeris the season 20 contemporary routine set to “Work Song” by Hozier.

While Carrie Ann Inaba thought Graziadei, 29, and Johnson's portrayal lacked “a bit of rawness” Derek Hough said, “I disagree,” before complimenting the couple for “really connecting” during the dance.

Hough, 39, also praised Chandler Kinney after her and her partner Brandon Armstrong paid tribute to one of his routines: his Season 16 Argentine Tango Kellie Pickler.

After noting that “comparisons are inevitable” when recreating dances, Hough told Kinney, 24, “I actually preferred this one to mine,” adding that the performance earned the season's first perfect score , “silky smooth” and yet “intense”.

At the end of the evening, Danny Amendola And Witney Carson And Dwight Howard And Daniella Karagach were at the bottom of the leaderboard. Howard, 38, and Karagach, 31, were ultimately eliminated, just a week before the Season 33 semifinals.

“I've learned so much here, thank you everyone,” Howard told the crowd after the co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced the results.

Before the elimination, the participants competed DWTS' first-ever instant dance round to commemorate the 500th episode. Each duo was assigned their song and dance style just five minutes before they took the stage to showcase their improvisational talent and natural dancing skills.

Kinney and Armstrong, 30, were the instant winners of the dance round as they were the only couple to score a perfect 30 for their last-minute performance.
