It's finally the week of perhaps the greatest boxing match in the history of the sport – whether you want to believe it or not.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is set to take on former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and it seems like everyone has a strong opinion on how the fight will turn out.

The fight will be Tyson's return to professional boxing – his fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 was an exhibition, so this will be his first professional fight since 2005. As for Paul, this will be his third fight of the year; He is 10-1 and has six knockouts in his career.

Of course, Paul annoys many people. At the age of 27, he is a constant headline-grabber and has achieved major success through Vine, the Disney Channel and YouTube.

One of those who isn't big fans of Paul's work is Super Bowl champion Andrew Whitworth.

“I hope Mike Tyson cuts his damn head off,” Whitworth said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

Whitworth is one of the many who criticize the legitimacy of Paul's boxing career. His first fight was against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, his second was against former NBA star Nate Robinson, and four of his next five were against current and former MMA artists. His only defeat came against professional boxer Tommy Fury, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

After fighting Nate Diaz, he fought two boxers who don't even have Wikipedia pages, Andre August and Ryan Bourland. These fights lasted a total of five minutes and two seconds and each ended in a first-round knockout for Paul.

Now his next opponent is a 58-year-old Tyson.

“I would love that [Paul] to fight someone his age and have boxed at the same level of success. But if he wants to continue cherry picking, if fans want to follow Jake Paul's journey, good for them. But I hope Mike Tyson knocks him out,” Whitworth added.

Paul has long said he wants to become world champion, which he has predicted will happen by 2028. Last summer, Paul said he only had “three or four years” left in the sport because he would “want to accomplish everything I want to accomplish in that time frame.” In response, he was asked if it was a prediction that he would win a title during this period.

“Yes,” he replied. “It actually is.”

According to Action Network, Paul is currently the -200 favorite, meaning you would have to risk $200 on Paul to win $100.
