In the video, 18-year-old Vivek Ramaswamy addresses his classmates at St. Xavier High School in Ohio as he reflects on his journey at the institution. “How should I feel now?” Ramaswamy says in the video, a quote that online users have associated with the politician as he reflects on his new role under Donald Trump's administration.

Ramaswamy reflects on his high school experience with his classmates and wants to relive those experiences. He also talks about the importance of looking back on one's journey, saying, “The only answer lies in looking back at our experiences.”

Who is Vivek Ramaswamy?

Born in Ohio to Tamil-speaking Indian immigrant parents, Ramaswamy attended St. Xavier High School, a private, all-male Catholic college preparatory school in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his studies in 2003. Ramaswamy graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He also attended Yale Law School and received his Juris Doctor (JD) degree in 2013.

Ramaswamy founded the biotech company Roivant Sciences, which focused on acquiring and developing untapped pharmaceutical assets. Ramaswamy was also an author Woke Inca book that criticizes corporate involvement in America's social and political issues. He criticized the “woke” corporate culture and called for the revival of American ideals.

The American politician rose to prominence ahead of the 2024 presidential election when he filed his nomination as the Republican presidential candidate. Ramaswamy has worked to reduce the federal government's economic influence through political deregulation.
