Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday, November 28th this year.

Are there Thanksgiving deals at the supermarket?

There are several retailers offering Thanksgiving deals ahead of the holiday to make shopping easier for shoppers.

Walmart's $53 “inflation-free Thanksgiving meal” costs an average of $7 per person. Sam's Club said its Thanksgiving meal can feed up to 10 people for less than $100.

According to Target, the $20 meal for four is $5 cheaper than last year. Aldi's $47 Thanksgiving meal is enough to feed 10 people and is its lowest price in five years, the grocer said. Dollar General is offering buy two get one free items as part of its Thanksgiving specials.

Who plays football on Thanksgiving Day?

This Thanksgiving, the NFL has scheduled a triple slate of games. Every year, the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions host NFL games on this holiday.

  • New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX
  • Miami Dolphins vs. Green Bay Packers at 8:20 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field
