Crash closes westbound Highway 10 near Big Lake

BIG LAKE, Minn. – A crash in Sherburne County closed a portion of Highway 10 Wednesday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the western portion of the highway between 172nd Street and Industrial Drive Northeast will remain closed until approximately 11 a.m

According to state police, two cars collided head-on, causing serious injuries. One person was flown to hospital by helicopter and the other by ambulance. The crash is under investigation.

Officials are encouraging those traveling on Highway 10 to take a detour if possible.
