Howell County authorities arrest two people after drug bust

WEST PLAINS, Mo. (KY3) – Authorities in Howell County have arrested two suspects wanted for illegal drug trafficking.

West Plains residents Jody Lee Cates, 42, and Kristy Norton, 40, are charged with drug offenses.

The arrests took place on October 6th. Investigators said with the help of K-9 Spice, 13 ounces of methamphetamine, 250 fentanyl capsules, six grams of raw fentanyl and other items consistent with drug use were located.

Howell County deputies worked with the South-Central Drug Task Force in the arrests.
