Then hosts from Montreal radio station The Beat 92.5 (@thebeat925 on TikTok) tested out this latest baby name trend for girls in a viral TikTok video with over 1.6 million views. One of the hosts explains: “Okay, think about it: who is your best friend and what is his father’s name? Whatever that answer is, it could be a great name for a baby Girl.“It then lists examples of typical “dad” names that might work for a little girl. • Lenny
  • Teddy
  • Billy

If the trend doesn't work

With a trend like this, it's not surprising that people have a lot of thoughts. And lots of hilarious comments. A look at the comments section causes some giggles, as many commenters mention father names that are objectively NOT the case Work for the trend.

For example, @justmilly hilariously commented: “Ahh yes my little girl ✨Craig✨.” Another from @reeleyevil said: “I don't call her Kevin.” And another from @n1colev81: “Gordon, you deserve this. Thanks for the camping trips.” It's safe to say that the comments section does have a sense of humor.
