How to watch Arkansas vs. Troy channel, stream and game time

The number 18 Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1, 0-0, SEC) take on the Troy Trojan (2-0, 0-0, Sun Belt) in the third game of the season at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. This will be the fifth meeting ever between the two programs and the first since they met on November 28, 2022, when the Razorbacks defeated the Trojans 74-61 in Fayetteville.

The Hogs suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday against No. 12 Baylor 72-67 at American Airlines Arena. Junior striker Adou Thiero led Arkansas with 24 points on 10 of 15 shooting (66.7%). Junior striker Jackson Fields is the leading scorer for Troy, averaging 12.5 points per night.

“Tough game,” Arkansas assistant coach Kenny Payne said on Tuesday. “Tough team. They shoot the ball well, they are physical, they create a situation on defense where they lose the ball. They have, I believe, 11 players back from last year's team. They have four players in double figures. That's who they are.” “A very good basketball team that we know we have to play well to beat.”

The Hogs-Trojans opener is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. (CST) and the game will be televised on SEC Network Plus.

Snapshot of the Troy Trojans

Troy head coach Scott Cross is entering the sixth season of his tenure with the Trojans. In his time, he has posted an 82-76 record and three consecutive 20-win seasons.

“Our attention to detail should be better in the game,” Payne said. “Because this team is a very good team. And Cal did a great job explaining to our guys that you have to be the attacker no matter what they throw at us. You better be able to handle it and we went. “We keep going over the game plan to make sure these guys are ready for it.

The Hogs had difficulty shooting from three-point range, as they shot a combined 9 of 39 from behind the arc in the first two games.

“I think we have to be prepared for them to play in the zone,” Payne said. “I think we have to want them to play in the zone so we show people we can handle a zone and the goal is to get teams to not play in the zone. You want to play in the zone, we burn you, we're efficient against it, we do a great job against it, so you realize that when we play the style of play we want to play, you have to play against us.
