Northern Kentucky school principal charged with underage drinking

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) – The principal of Scott High School is now facing charges related to an underage drinking incident.

Kenton County police say they have confirmed Anthony Procaccino is the man in a video holding a beer bong while two teenagers drank from it in his home. The teenagers were 16 and 17 years old at the time of the incident, on New Year's Eve 2023.

Students from Scott and Simon Kenton High Schools appear in the video. According to police, her parents have been notified.

While Procaccino is principal of Scott High School, he was also principal of Whites Tower Elementary School at the time.

One of the teen's mothers recently contacted police about the incident and provided the video.

Procaccino is accused of assisting in serving alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age. He faces a fine of up to $250 in each case.

Scott's assistant principal served as principal during the Kenton County Police investigation.
