Police are looking for a man convicted of a drug raid

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police are searching for a man convicted of multiple charges related to a 2023 drug bust.

Jurors found Glen A. Gillette Jr. guilty of possession of drugs and firearms, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia for manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from 2nd District Attorney Sonia F. Hagood. Assault on a police officer, second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and resisting arrest.

The judge sentenced Gillette to 152 years in prison in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

An anonymous tip led to a search by the Jonesboro Police Department in November 2023. She found 334 fentanyl pills, a loaded 9mm handgun, scales, money and drug paraphernalia in Gillette's possession.

Hagood said Gillette failed to appear and removed his ankle monitor on the second day of his trial, which began Oct. 22, 2024. The trial took place in his absence.

There is currently an active arrest warrant for him.
