NBA Twitter reacts to the OKC Thunder's statement win over the Nuggets to start the season

The Oklahoma City Thunder's impressive 102-87 win over the Denver Nuggets to open the season showed what many people thought: The youngest first seed in league history is here to stay as a title contender.

Despite Isaiah Hartenstein's absence, the Thunder made easy work of the Nuggets. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 28 points. Chet Holmgren stole the spotlight with 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets couldn't escape OKC's stifling defense. They shot 36% from the field. Nikola Jokic limited himself to a quiet 16-point triple-double.
