How to beat the Double Pyramid Heads boss fight in Silent Hill 2 Remake

The double pyramid heads are at the end of the Otherworld version of the Lakeview Hotel. Directly behind the door, near the 9 red storage tiles, two pyramid heads with spears execute Maria one last time. After learning the truth about Maria, James is now ready to face his tormentors.

This is a pretty straightforward fight. These versions of Pyramid Head are much faster than the ones you fought in Blue Creek Apartments since they don't have the Great Knife. They use a variety of attacks including quick jabs and large lunges. Your best course of action against these bosses is to keep your distance and do as much damage as possible with the hunting rifle from a safe distance. Watch out for the spear throwing attack that the Pyramid Heads can do, because this attack can hit you no matter how far away you are. This move also provides a good attack opportunity, as the Pyramid Head who throws his spear must retrieve it, leaving him vulnerable to damage.

Just keep hitting the bosses with attacks. Aim for the body and not the metal head. It appears that these two enemies share a common health pool, so don't feel the need to split your attention and attacks between the two. If one of them is constantly putting themselves in danger, take advantage of it.

When enough damage has been done, a cutscene will play in which the two monsters impale each other with their spears. In their hands they hold the rust-colored egg and the scarlet egg, representing Mary and Mary respectively. These items are used to open one of the two doors from the boss arena.
