Prescription drug take-back day scheduled for Saturday – ButlerRadio.com

Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day and residents have two options to responsibly dispose of old, unused prescription medications.

The first event is an annual event in Cranberry Township. It will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the back of the parking lot at the community center.

Butler VA is working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and they will be picking up at the New Castle Road Butler VA Campus Parking Lot #18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Injectable medications, needles or illegal drugs are not accepted. All liquids must be tightly sealed.

Those who cannot attend either event can still dispose of prescription pills responsibly by either throwing away the pills separately from the container or removing all personal information from the container.
